That’s why Xbox is giving them not only clues to find some real life Locust meat butcher shops through a unique, multi-city ARG, but also the ability to turn that Locust meat into some exclusive Gears of War 3 prizing and experiences. It all starts with the random numeric COGs many have found in the Gears of War 3 online training modules athttp://bit.ly/phU8S4. If Gearheads can figure out what to do with those numeric codes…well we can’t give everything away now can we!

    I unlocked 3 of them but still no clue as to wtf this ARG is all about - possibly another race around Toronto like the splinter cell thing?

    an invite to an event for Gears 3 would be an amazing highlight for me because it's by far my favourite shooter title

    man the tags lead you to some weird pages, but the promotion appears to be linked just with Vancouver

    what's the Toronto one? is it different?

    i was thinking about going out after work with some guys ;)....but never got around to it...im regretting it now i guess a buncha ppl from work are out having a good time...lol

    Nothing to do with the contests, since they seem to never run anything out in Edmonton...But..I can't WAIT for Gears 3! I am more excited for this release than Halo!
