    Which makes it post-disgusting!

Force Unleased for like $7 too
  • That horrible beowolf game is 5$ at futureshop
  • I'd rather spend that $5 on transportation away from futureshop.
  • $2.50 for star wars KOTOR hell thats less than some drinks. less than a beer for sure!!
  • less than a beer for sure!!

I actually very rarely buy beer out anymore since it's so expensive! I'll just take a water, as even pop's gone up at restaurants and pubs.

I can justify the price that my favorite beer is priced (kinda) it is from Poland after all.
  • I do not know why, but my Costco was selling Halo: Reach for 49.99 today. Weird, but nice. Didn't pick up a copy cause i'm broke and really want a 3DS when it comes out.

My oh my, the similarities just keep climbing huh?
Well my personal choice is Zywiec for booze and the liquor store just down the way sells it (Yay) only in cans though (Not so yay)
  • I also like Lech and and Tyskie quite a lot.
  • I like... whatevers free.
  • I'm not really a beer guy, unless its really cold
  • I read that Halo: Reach is on-sale for $49.99 at Costco. Apparently the Legendary Edition is only $123.99. Your mileage may vary, though. It was confirmed by people on RedFlagDeals.

Those are the prices at my Costco, and supposedly at my brothers too.
  • Team Fortress 2 50% off until Monday on Steam!
This puts the game with endless hours of fun at 9.99. Its almost irresistible if you have Steam and a computer that can run the game
  • Gah, hate beer & wine. Hard liquor all the way.

Hard liquor tastes quite horrible but it does the job, well!

Wine is not the best. Although I did have a tasty glass of some fruit wine at one time.
As for hard liquor. Your preaching to a Polish person. :)
  • Love beer, love liquor, hate wine.

    They all have their place!
  • in my belly!
  • This week's Xbox Live DOTW is Scott Pilgrim the Game for 400msp (50% off)
  • Nice. I'm glad I waited.
  • A beer in Calgary pub costs on average $6. So 10 beer costs the same as 1 year of XBL Gold.
  • That's nuts. On average, I pay around $4.50-4.75 here for a regular beer. Imports are up to a buck more. I thought that was expensive/highway robbery.

Here are some sales I recently found out about:

Microsoft Points - $5 off at Real Canadian Super Store. Sale started yesterday. This means that 1400 cards are $14.99 and 2800 cards are $34.99. Your best bet is to buy two 1400 cards instead of a 2800 card because you'll save $5.

Toy Story 3 - $39.99 at Toys 'R Us. GREAT game. Excellent gift idea for a kid.

Trade 2 Promotions This Week at Future Shop: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, EA Active 2 and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Their website shows applicable games for Assassin's Creed (but I assume the games are the same for all three deals.) www.futureshop.ca/usedgames

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY - $29.99 at EB Games and HMV
  • $39.99 is still a bit much for Toy Story 3 me thinks..I'll wait for further price drops before I pick it up.

I'm a bit worried about playing it. I have such great memories of Toy Story 2 on the PS1(I think it was the PS1. Could have been the N64) that I fear playing this game will ruin it lol.

  • The game is really good. It really surprised me.

There are two complete game modes (campaign with six missions that are decent,) but also Toybox mode. That's the best part of the game. You get to pick one of the three main characters (Woody, Jessie or Buzz) to play as, in a GTA style mode. You have to create and look after a town, while completing different missions for the townspeople, protecting them from invaders, searching for collectibles, etc. There's a ton to it.

  • holy crap thats a sale! too bad I live in downtown toronto so its100% likely that any rogers within 50 miles is sold out of anything i'd want. you should have just bought everything. resold later.
  • @Rajio Hahaha, I only had a $50 and a $10 with me. Heading back later though to grab a bunch more I hope. I live in a small town, and nobody ever shops there, I got no competition.
  • well if you get a 12month subscription, ill pay you for it. Same for points.

(plus a finder's fee of course)

  • @rajio I live almost across the country from you, unless you meant to ship it to you. Also, I couldn't find any at the store I was at, but I am heading to the other two soon. Older Xbox 260's are $50 (older meaning not slim)

  • well subscriptions/points you could just email me the code and i could paypal you the moneys.
  • @Rajio Went to one other one and there was none in stock. Can't get to the third tonight, will check for you tomorrow though. I LOL'd at the lady with the $2454 bill and 3 cardboard boxes of games though.
