What Did You Accomplish In Gaming Today? Vol. 3

The other thread is getting kind of full so here is Vol. 3!

Yesterday I started playing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days on the DS and it is a blast. I wish I actually had the game though (playing on my dads R4i) so that I could play it with the joystick on my 3DS.

I am also still playing a ton of Minecraft. I am starting a Hunger Games map later tonight.

I remember trying to play it on the DS Lite, and using the D-pad was horrible. I just realized you can use the joystick from the 3DS on DS games. I might have to try it again sometime, and see how that goes.

For gaming, I have been slowly playing through Psychonauts on the PC, and slowly getting through Devil May Cry 1 on Hard mode.

Bought Lollipop Chainsaw this morning and all I can say is...I'm in love. After being into so many RPGs/MMOs and shooters for the past 4-6 months, it feels amazing to get a hack and slash mindless, fucked up twist on the arcade classics. The game was directed by Suda 51, the genius behind "Shadows of the Damned", "Killer 7" and the "No More Heroes" franchise. Needless to say, its unique.

Also grabbed my English copy of Gravity Rush which launched today on the Vita. Will be delving into that this weekend when I drive to California.

Here is a video of the first boss to showcase just how...amazing this game is

I'm going to take my brother to get some Microsoft Points today so he can buy the full version of Minecraft. don't know why they don't have a 1400 option on-console so instead of buying 1500 MP we're just gonna get one from Walmart or something. I'm actually kind of excited to try Minecraft, looks .. fun.

I picked this game up earlier as well. Havent played it yet but I did just finish entering 5 codes for 5 extra costumes.

I hope my pre-order comes from Future Shop. I'd say I'm surprised not to get my copy today but it seems like it's Ontario residents who get their copy on launch day.

EDIT-Just checked shipping and it's still in Mississauga as of this afternoon. Probably a thursday delivery, maybe...lol...

Most games I like t opreorder from EBgames so I can just pick it up the day it comes out. The only time I preorder elsewhere is if its cheaper of you get something cool

Beat Bulletstorm a few days ago and got most of the campaign cheevos.
Not a bad game and I really enjoyed the storyline much more than Gears 3.
But those MP cheevos are going to be tough as I can barely find a single match online.

You can play alone online in bulletstorm and still level up pretty quick

Minecraft is actually pretty fun, but I definitely don't appreciate the zombies trying to kill me in my sleep. I had to move from my quaint little home to a freaking fortified steel house.

Did you properly light your house? Monsters are fond of spawning in dark places. I had to fill my house with torches just to make sure creepers stopped spawning in there.

Never tried Minecraft on the XBOX. I have intended on downloading the demo, just haven't gotten around to it. Just seems like it would be a crappier version of the PC version, which I already own, so haven't had any interest.

I usually do EB as well but @Rajio had a coupon for it so I figured I can wait a few days to save some money. I've got the weekend off starting on friday so as long as it gets here at a good time, I'll be happy.

@smoreninja i actually realized that ive just been expanding on the tutorial game so there's a little village after you finish teh tutorial. it's very well lit.

@ttrdrpayne my brother has it on PC but the computer he plays on is sssooo slow and laggy so he really wanted the xbox version.

Ya I'm liking the game a lot. Graphics look great, sound is fantastic. I love the voice acting and I like the boss fights a lot. Ive only been playing a level a day so far but its fun as hell.

The dialogue is great too, "zombies suck dick at driving"

Got a good laugh during the prologue when it was shown how to change the camera angle, "don't look up her skirt you perv"

Reached level 15 in Diablo 3. I find more powerful weapons and armor then my blacksmith can make. Spend all my money in training him but I think it's useless. Can't buy anything better either. I'll save it and go to the pub and get drunk and fool around with the wenches!
