Halo has dinosaurs they're called Moah (or however it is spelled) and can be found in Reach. The rest died 65 million years ago :PRajio said:halo was originally supposed to have dinosaurs.

According to science birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs, so in a way i was right and in another way i was even more right :PJuxtapose said:

No, Moah are the planet Reach's version of turkey or ostriches or whatever. Reach had those two large animals that made a random, pointless appearance in Chapter IV, Guta (SP?), and they were far more like dinosaurs.
Halo: Combat Evolved was supposed to have wildlife on the ring though, some of them dinosaur-like. At one point you would even be able to ride one of them like a vehicle, but of course this was all cut during development.
