Only Mech game I've played is Mech Warrior on the Original Xbox. That was a great game, imo.

I played Mech Warrior on my PC. It came bundled as part of a software kit for a Microsoft Joystick...the first sidewinder I think.

Nope, the MechWarrior franchise was around on the PC all through the '90's, as I recall.

MechAssault was the premiere of the franchise on the Xbox and was one of the Xbox LIVE launch titles. It was also the first game in history to feature "premium" DLC, and for that reason and the successful trend it started, I elegantly spit upon it.

Maybe it was on PC i played it on. Because before i had a Super Nintendo i remember playing Whacky Wheels, some dirt bike game and Viper Racing on the PC, and from that same era i remember some Mech game

I've never been much of a fan of mech games. But this one looks somewhat interesting.

I remember having a blast with Mech Assault.
Me and my sister would get those puny tiny Mechs and verse one giant Mech of deathly doom and see which one of us would survive longer.

Yes, I was tweeting all day about this yesterday. I couldn't be more excited!!!! I used to play BattleTech tabletop and I played all of the old MechWarrior games on PC. I simply can't wait for this game.

It's about time! Battletech and the Mechwarrior games kick ass. I can't wait for this to come out.

That game looks sweet; hope it gets made. I kinda miss those classics like Mech Warrior on PC that were a bit slower but more realistic and more tactical... I'd put the old X-Wing and TIE Fighter games in that group too.
